About

Join Helen Freshwater (Newcastle University) and GIFT Festival Director Kate Craddock, who are co-authors of Theatre and its Audiences, reimagining the relationship in times of crisis (Bloomsbury, 2024) for a conversation with a host of guest artists about the changing relationships between artists, venues and audiences since 2020.

Five years on from when GIFT pivoted the festival online in response to Covid 19,  this conversation will offer artists and audiences an opportunity to reflect back on how norms and practices have changed over the last 5 years, and aims to shed light on what the future might hold.

Dates: Sun 4 May
Times: 12 midday - 1.30pm

Duration: 1.5 hours
Age guidance: All ages
Venue:
St Mary's Heritage Centre, Oakwellgate, Gateshead NE8 2AU
